whilst there are many priests/pastors in various churches who do good and whatnot,

giving money to churches/pastors and giving them a free hand to use the money as they see fit is the originator of corruption within organised religion.

fuck it. give the money to me! (but then i don't think i could/would accept it)

what bothers me most about the whole 'church donation' notion....
is the fact that the church already receives
kickbacks and back-scratches from the government.

in addition to that... i find it overtly disgusting
that this man is yacking about donating to the
church in order to help the poor... while yammering
on about buying a helicopter....

while i have no problem with the helicopter idea
(no matter how insane i think it is), i find it
odd that this man is giving 17 million to three
men posing as middle men.

'to help the poor,' he says....
'to build a (xtian) school,' he says....

why not do both -- and with your own hands????

why not donate the 17 mil. to a local homeless shelter,
food bank, or better yet... why not run through
the local paper on any given sunday and pick
out a few want ads from needy familys and buy
shit for them (anonymously or no)???
